365 Project - Day 66 - A Springtime Teaser

Just when we thought we might be seeing our first real signs of spring, another winter storm is on it's way through. People think that Steven and I must hate the weather here in Nebraska after spending 3 1/2 years in Arizona. Quite the contrary. We have really been enjoying actually having seasons again. And I'm sure we'll enjoy it even more this summer when we do not have to endure the sweltering 120-degree heat. Dry heat or not, 120 is waaaaay too hot!

Here in Nebraska, it's possible to experience all four seasons in a 24-hour period, especially this time of year. One minute, you're thinking it's almost warm enough to put on shorts. Then, suddenly the temperature begins to fall and the next thing you know, there is a foot of snow on the ground. Just yesterday, Electra was having a great time tracking and sunning herself in the backyard...

And then today, we wake up to this...

By mid-afternoon, the snow had all melted, and by evening it had started to rain. The forecast calls for more rain and accumulating snow through Wednesday. After that, it should start to warm up again. So, don't pack away those parkas yet, kids. Looks like we may have just a little bit of winter left this year.

Today's 365 Project entry is dedicated to the lastest Springtime teaser. Don't worry folks, we're almost there!
